Hi, Stacey
You can also purchase the thing from Amazon. Just put the
details into the
search field and it should come up.

Heello,
the manufacturer of the passport is Western digital. I prchased
it through
their website for $149 plus tax.
It is very lightweight I don't believe it weighs more than a
pound or so.

Appreciated Robert.
Who manufactured your 80 gb hard drive?
Is it relatively small and lightweight?
Thanks

Hello Deon,
I believe, that if memory serves me correctly, the largest cf
card
out there is a 8 gb card.
I never used anything higher then a 1 gb card in the compact
flash
slot, but I have several 5 gb microdrives that go in the side
slot.
The problem you run into with higher amounts of memory, is that
the
braillenote has a hard time driving them, hence making it slower
to
open and perform operations within the card.
If you upgrade to a mpower, you can use many different drives
that
connect to the usb port, for example, I now have a 80 gb hard
drive
that works nicely with my unit.
Good luck,
Robert
