When this happened to my gf's braille note classic, she had to send it back for service. I also experienced the same problem but was able to live with it for a couple of months until I sent my classic in for a transplant to an Mpower. Since the Mpower is a new braille note asside from my old braille display, I knew the problem would get resolved in the process.

I have tried all thre types of resets described in the operator's manual and the flash disk is still unavailable. When doing the first reset type, i.e. pressing the reset button, the system reports an error message that says, "Unable to locate string table." When doing a "hard" reset, by holding down the J K L keys and pressing the reset button, I can at least get the system to come up with Keysoft CD Version 3.07, Build 2175 and input the prompted values for braille language, time, date, etc., and ultimately get a "Main Menu." But ... no flash disk. Does anyone recognize this flash disk issue and know of a resolution for it?
