Jose:

No, the book reader not only opens .bks files, but any file it opens acts as if it were protected. This means that while you can copy and/or store blocks of text to different files, the "book in question cannot be edited. This explains why blocks cannot be cut or pasted and why you do not need to press the SPACE bar for a command to take effect, plus why bookmarks are not supported. (These markers are indicators placed in the file, and since the file cannot be edited, these indicators cannot be placed.)

The best way is to use the word processor, then read the finished product with the book reader. You can, however, press SPACE with X (or QT equivalent) to temporarily protect the file, so all book reader commands are implemented right in KeyWord.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hello; Alex, I have a question about that. Can you do that with
the book reader open? Please write back.

Quite a simple process:
1. Open the first volume.
2. Go to the end of the volume, and access the Block Commands
Menu.
3. Select "Insert File". Select the next volume in the usual
way, and press ENTER.
4. Repeat 1-3 for the third volume, then save the whole thing.
Note: if you a re using a classic, this may take a while. If you
are forced to reset due to absolute lock up (always give it a
minute before resorting to this) then your progress will be lost,
but the volumes should still be there.

Good luck,
Alex
