Keven:

I have a BT, but the process is similar.

First, selecting all files in a folder is a great idea, and I have wished for it often. It is, unfortunately, not possible.

To create an M3U playlist, go to KeyWord and select open or create a document. Select whichever drive and folder you want, as the playlist does not have to be in the same folder as the songs. (If it is, though, you will not have to specify the drive and folder, just the file names.)

At the "file to open/create?" prompt, press BACKSPACE with X until you hear something about an ASCII text file. Now type the playlist name, but be sure to type .m3u at the end. So you would type: playlist.m3u. This tells the BN that it is not a text file, but a playlist file.

Now type all the songs you want, with each on its own line, like this: /drive/folder/file.extension. The user's guide says MP3's only, but I would think it would work with other file types. Try it and see.

Subject: [Braillenote] Playlist

Dear Listers:
I have a few question regarding the Media Player on the MPower
Unit. The first question that I have is if it is possible to do
a select all sort of thing and have the Media player play all of
the contents within a specified folder. The next question that I
have is how do you create a playlist using the BrailleNote I have
done it before but I went through a PC.
Any help will be grlty appreciated.
Kevin
