That actually never worked for me, either. However, I want to save audio files (not streams like radio stations) to my BN, not just hear them play once. How can I tell my machine to save, not play the file?

This is Joseph. If you are using BN mPower, you can save the
link as a
favorite. Do the following:
1. Navigate to the page that has the link that points to the
stream. Focus
the cursor on that link.
2. Go to Favorites/Create favorite from current link. Name the
favorite and
press enter.
Next time you start KeyWeb, go to the favorites list and select
the link
that you have just saved. Hit enter and the Media Player should
start
streaming. I hope this information may help you.

To all:

Does anyone know how to save a file off the internet, instead of
just streaming it--the equivalent of right-clicking the link in
IE and selecting "save target as"? Streaming is great, but what
if I want to save, say, a sound effect or audio clip? I have even
tried the "download" link (as opposed to the listen link) and it
has streamed both times.

Thank you, and have a great day,
Alex
