Hi Terry, I've begun to see the occasional crash with the PK when brailling a long document at speed, so I'll probably turn off speech also because I don't have to have it on all the time! <SMILE>
Thanks for your feedback. -- Carol [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of terry clasper Sent: Saturday, February 18, 2006 10:57 AM To: Braillenote List Subject: RE: [Braillenote] PK - PROBLEM WITH INSTALLATION OF KEYSOFT 7-ANDNOWMY PERSONAL COMPARISON Hi Carol. Certainly when the speech is turned off you can braille considerably faster with no crash occurring. What I tend to do with the PK is if I'm brailleing something long always switch off the speech braille the document then turn it back on. With the Mpower however I don't need to do this at all. Actually I love both products for different reasons. > ----- Original Message ----- >From: "Carol Pearson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected] >Date: Fri, 17 Feb 2006 20:55:07 -0000 >Subject: RE: [Braillenote] PK - PROBLEM WITH INSTALLATION OF KEYSOFT 7 -ANDNOWMY PERSONAL COMPARISON >Hi Terry, >Thanks also for your comments which are helpful. >Following on from that, I wonder if there's any noticeable speed >increase in writing if speech is turned off with the PK?
