I have experienced this too. When I spoke to an engineer recently about this he just saod that this behaviour suggested that the battery need replacing. It was the sort of behaviour he would expect at the end of a battery's useful life. My VoiceNote is still pretty new so I would be interested in hearing the official HUmanware line on this.
In the back of my mond are the del;ays I experienced in delivery of the devoce due to some issue with the battery. I was told that that issue was resolved.
