Rusty:

I will download the latest and see if its better. I haven't actually
looked at it for a while and not with the latest Version of jaws or
window eyes.

Thanks

Terry, I think the braille output with talks is just that, output, and
possibly input. I don't think you have any control over the phone with
the braille device. This is, of course, asuming that we're talking about
talks.

I've found the Nokia software to be relatively useful. I'm using JFW and
I've got the latest version of the software as of Dec. 16th or so.

There are certain things for which you must use your mouse, but
transfering files isn't to tough, neither is installing software.

Sarah:

Ideally it would be nice if we could access all of the features of the
phone much like you can do with the software on your pc. I have never
found by the way that the nokia software is all that accessible.

Another idea I thought of the other day would be the ability to turn
your BN into a remote for your stereo and video equipment. Most of the
good ones on the market aren't accessible and although it would mean
having to have my BN. Around all the time to be able to do this would be
a big deal for me. O yes and for HumanWare I would personally be willing
to pay a separate charge for this feature and if I had the programming
skills I would offer to do it.

Sorry just meant to reply to your first part.

Yes, I too would love to use my BrailleNote as a display for my cell
phone running Talks. Getting numbers jabbered at me isn't always very
useful, but I will never buy another device just for braille with my
cell phone, because there's too much to cary already, and there's also
the expense to consider.
