This is Joseph. In Windows CE 4.2, you can access Internet using ActiveSync
using USB cable. In order to ac`cess Internet using ActiveSync, you need to
create a connection configuration. You should select USB cable among the
devices listed. This will allows you to access Internet using USB through
ActiveSync. I hope this information may help you.
P.S. In Windows CE 4.2, there is a feature that alows PC's to redirect its
Internet Connection to a PDA, in this case, BN. So, if you have a broadband
connection, ActiveSync will take advantage of it and will redirec the
broadband connection so BN will be able to browse the web using PC's Intenet
connection.

Subject: [Braillenote] MPower: Accessing internet via ActiveSync and USB

Hi all, according to section
13.14.5
of the onboard user's manual, one can access the internet via ActiveSync and
USB.

I have followed the instructions to the letter and only succeed in getting
the message "Can not connect to server" on the mPower BT browser.

I have been in touch with the UK Humanware tech support who told me that one
can only access the internet via wireless card.

If this is the case, why does the above section in the manual state access
to be possible via USB?

If however access is possible via one's PC using USB or BlueTooth and
ActiveSync, could someone please give me the steps.

Relevant rules on NIS have been created and I have 4MB cable broadband.

Highly appreciated.

Deon
