In all the times I have had to do a reset because I let my battery go flat,
I have never seen this behavior.
This is the first time it happened to me. I am also inclined to think it is
rate. But thank goodness for backups.

This is Joseph. Jonathan, I think I have a theory. I think the Windows CE
might have reformatted the Flash  Disk. I'm wondering, if there are ways to
format Flash Disk, would you adk Dean to clarify? Thanks.

Hi malaina, I would be surprised if this was a recurring problem, that is to
say I don't think future resets are likely to give you this trouble. 
However, if you have a compact flash or SD card, do regular back-ups. This
is a good idea on any computer. But we are also keen to do what we can to
ensure data integrity.
