Hi Dean, Bellorg Advisor gives the following related to BlueTooth on my PC:

Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) #7

Blutonium BCM2035 Bluetooth 2.4 GHz Single Chip Transceiver
Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator

The problem does seem to be a MPower one.

As Paul stated, surfing on relatively small and simple sites is not a problem.

When loading larger sites BlueTooth on the MPower switches off spontaneously.
MPower states "Paired and Active" in the Bluetooth connectivity window.

When I go to Utilities and press C Mpower says connecting to ActiveSync via Bluetooth, but it does not follow this statement with the actual action.

I then have to unpair and start the whole procedure.

So, in brief, no problem connecting to and staying connected to simple sites but Bluetooth on MPower switches itself off whilst waiting for larger sites to load.

Incidentally, it is the case whether I use ActiveSync 3.8 or 4.1.

I'm using XP Home SP2 and Norton Internet Security has been configured correctly.

Thanks

Deon

Hello Deon,

Personally, along with others I know of, I haven't encountered any problems
when surfing via Activesync. However, there may be a compatibility issue
between the Windows CE Microsoft Bluetooth stack and that which you are
using on the PC.

What Bluetooth stack are you using on the Pc and what Bluetooth radio are
you using?
