Hello,
To back up your files on a particular drive, you would do the
following:
1. from the main menu, press u for utilities
2. Press b for backup,
3. It will ask if you want to backup or restore files,
4. At this point, if you want to backup your folders press b or
if you want to do a incremental backup, press i
5. It will then ask you for the drive, and then the folder,
6. At this point, if you choose a drive to backup to, it will
then ask you if you want to back them up on a folder called the
date of the day you are backing up, you can press enter, or you
can type a name of a particular folder, if it doesn't exist it
will ask you if you want to create a new folder, just press y and
you are on your way.

How do you do this backup or incremental backup. I have a
Braille Note M--Power.
Thank you in advance.

When this happened to me I didn't need to charge the battery was
at like 70
percent or so may be a little lower then that when this happened.
I am
going to back things up though from now on. I just was surprised
when the
unit was exactly the same as it was the day I got it when I lost
everything.

Hi. That happened to me last week. My battery ran down flat.
It has done
this before. Usually, I can plug it in and if turning it on
doesn't bring
it
up, a reset will. However, this time, a reset brought the unit
up, but
everything on my flash disk was gone.
Luckily, I had done a backup two days before. I can't stress
enough to do
a
backup every time you charge the unit. It saved me from losing
a lot of
things.
You can do the back up or incremental backup if you like when
the unit is
plugged in after a full charge.
So, When I come in to see if my unit is fully charged yet, if it
is, I do
a
backup before I even unplug the AC adapter.
