When you've put a lot of E-mail in the trash, it still stays in the BrailleNote. It's like the computer in a way, which has a recycle bin. If you don't dispose of it, soon your Flash memory will be filled up. You'll be able to tell that your machine is running very slow, and has a hard time downloading. Freeing Database space is for things that you deliberately have put in the trash.
