Hi Doug,
Thanks so much. Does this effect any other part of the battery?

Hi. If you reset the unit when fully discharged, just after
connecting the
ac adaptor, it will reset to one.
Aloha,

Hi, Stacey. My Mpower battery cycle is at 53. It has never gone

number of
times. I sent my unit in once to have the battery checked and
they ran it up
to 30. That's why I am now at 53.
I have a hunch that the cycle will never go back to one unless
the battery
is changed.
That makes sense to me. I think the idea of a battery cycle count
is so that
you know how many times you have charged your battery. These
batteries can
only be charged for a specific number of times before they need
replacing.
As I recall, the number is pretty high, somewhere in the 500's.
But if the cycle count went back to one, you'd have no idea how
many times
the battery had been charged.

Subject: [Braillenote] Recalibrating battery
Hi all,
I've never recalibrated my vnqt mpower, but I am planning to
shortly. My
battery cycle count is at 25 even after running the battery flat.
Dean said
yesterday that the battery cycle should go to one after running
the unit
flat. Mine doesn't do this.
The cycle count just goes up, so I think I should recalibrate.
My gage still says it's accurate though. It says gage is
accurate plus or
minus two percent. If I calibrate my battery even though the
gage says it's
accurate, will it hurt anything?
Thanks,
Stacey and Amigo
I've just charged the unitl this morning and the cycle count is
25.
