Dear Sherry, If you have a disk drive for the BN, you could copy the info from the disk to a CompactFlash card, insert it into the card reader on your PC and get the information installed that way.
I know that your question has appeared on the Duxbury Users' list, so you might want to send an email to that list, too. Terri, Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA. I hope that's an ok topic here, even though : it involves the drive with my PC. : : my new computer doesn't have a floppy disc drive. I tried to install my : copy of duxbury yesterday and realized it uses the old floppy authorization : system. My computer has a built in card reader. Do you think I can plug : the disc drive into my PC in one of the card slots, and use it that way to : license duxbury? I am lost without my braille translation program. and : yes, though I transfer most of my web braille or bookshare books to my : mPower, I do occasionally open the books and translate them into text to : have jaws read to me from the PC while I'm doing other things at home. : : Sherry : : : ___ : To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to : [EMAIL PROTECTED] : To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit : http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote : ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
