Hi Bob:

I'll be glad to look at it: what is the web site? You should, if it's a web site, be able to save it where you want.

Subject: [Braillenote] Question about downloading with KS7

Hi folks: I recently installed KS7 on my Classic. Now one of the
reasons this upgrade was so appealing to me was that it was
supposed to make downloading of large documents easier, by not
simply assigning them to the Temp folder, but rather, letting you
select the folder in which you wanted to save them. This would,
of course, make downloading much easier. Unfortunately, this
doesn't seem to be the case. Downloading seems to be the same as
it was before, except that, since there's more stuff on the
Keysoft System Disk, it's harder now. I just had a very
frustrating experience, in which I tried to download an article
about tracheostomies. My wife just had one, and I wanted to read
up on the subject. Well, I never did get the article, even after
resetting the BN twice, and erasing all of the extraneous folders
(My Documents, Profiles, program Files) from the Keysoft disk.
Every time I tried to download it, the BN locked up. This leads
to two questions: (1) Is this feature really part of the nej
upgrade for the Claassic? (arb) How do I access it? Actually,
there's a third question: Should I re-install the upgrade? The
new KeyBase feature is interesting, and the games are okay, if
that's your thing, but i want to know about this downloading
thing. Tell me what, if anything, I'm doing wrong, and I'll
correct it. I select the link, and hit Enter. The instructions
seem to imply that it's supposed to ask me where I want the
document saved, but it doesn't. So, help! God bless. Bob and
Maxy-wax
