There should be more than one pronunciation dictionary on the BN like there
is in WindowEyes. The WE dictionaries are more functional.
But it isn't really fair to compare the BN to any PC screen reader because
they are different products designed for different purposes. But I couldn't
resist praising WindowEyes.

: Sure, you can enter anything you would like the BrailleNote to say when
it prompts "type misspelling". Unfortunately you can't type more than one
word in the first field where you type what is mispronounced.
: People also don't have to worry about a letter combination being
pronounced differently because the change only works for hole words. That
does mean that if you fix a word, but then come across that word or name
with an s at the end of it it will be mispronounced as if you hadn't fixed
its pronunciation.
:
: I have to say that i like the JAWS pronunciation dictionary the best out
of what I have used, because it is extremely unpicky about what you put in
there. I fix multiple words with it, and I have even put the strings of
punctuation that make up emoticons in the dictionary so they are said. :-)
: The BrailleNote's pronunciation dictionary is very limited, but it works
for most things and fortunately most things are said correctly in the first
place. If you don't want frustration in your life don't get obsessed about
fixing the pronunciation of bible books.
