Sharon:

Fact is that I can't use my BrailleNote here at work for e-mail and the
reason is simply that the vast majority of e-mail is in html.

Hi Joseph and List,
  You're probably right that plain text takes up less room, but the fact
of the matter is that a lot of places you subscribe to send their email
in html.  We've also received html from the Clinic and had to have it
re-sent.  If we had the html capability, it would make things a lot
simpler.
  Thanks for your input.  This makes for an interesting topic.
