Dear Keao, Creating a table of contents on a BN is a tedious job because you must enter everything manually.
1. Create a Word document. 2. Press control with e to center the text and write Table of Contents. Press enter. You cannot use "style of presentation" because the styles are only good for printing or embossing the file from the BN. When you transfer the file to your PC, all of the style of presentation codes will disappear. 3. Next, put the word "title" on the left side on a new line. 4. Manually type periods until you gett to the place where you are four characters from the right side of the page. Then write the word "page". Press enter. The BN doesn't allow you to right justify only part of a line and the BN won't add leader dots automatically. 5. You will have to manually write all of your titles, leader dots and page numbers. If you plan to print your toc, then you can use the "style of presentation." To do this, press control y. Use the space bar to cycle through the list and press enter on the style you want. I usually make my tables of contents for embossing braille documents so print tables of contents might be set up differently. My point is that everything must be created manually on the BN, but if you have a PC, you can create a table of contents using whatever word processor you wish. Have fun!
