Hi Dean and List,

Dean, I agree with you about likeing to look around with the display and leave the cursor where is is when editing a document. However, when in the book reader, I sure wish that the cursor would folow the Braille display. I have to constantly remember to either you the right outer thumb key, or hit a routing button. If I don't, and then exit the book, I open the book, I'm not where I think I left off the last time. If the cursor followed the Braille display, all I would need to do continuously is to simply press the Advance thumb key to keep going forwared through the book. So, would it be possible to have the option so that we could choose to have the curor follow the Braille display, or not?

Hello Alex,

Personally, I like the fact that the cursor doesn't follow the display
because it allows me to scroll the Braille display and quickly return to the
cursor position, (where I was in the document originally) at any time.

Perhaps this can be logged as a suggestion by Humanware ... oh wait a
minute, I work for Humanware so I guess it will have to be me. I'll put it
in our database when I get into the office tomorrow.

I think that's a great idea, just have the cursor hidden but
still there. It follows the speech, so why not the Braille, too?

display

Greetings,

Would there be any chance that by the next version of KeySoft the
cursor would move along with the braille display?
As it is right now, if you read a long way in a document on the
braille display and accidently bump the space bar, or any other
key, you find yourself right back where you started.
This is not helpful.

Anyone else feel that way?

Thanks,
Richard
