Khalid;
Just like I do my nut sales, I use a line brake between each customer. You
would only have to key in each student with a line break between each one.
Each day just read the list and put P for present and np for not present. At
the end of the week you would have 5 marks for each student. Then copy it into
your data base on your computer. You would already have their names and all
you would have to enter is the number of days present. You could also keep
other imfo, such as grades on the complex data base on your computer.
This way, the imfo would be at your finger tips to enter on to your computer,
only 40 numbers and no dependence.

Hello Khalid,
I would create a database for this class.
You could call it lecturer or whatever you like, and in the
fields, I would put student name, date, attended and you could
make this field a check list, so that if they attended you put y
for yes and if not you put n for no, and you could even have a
field that could be for their grade,
Now when the class is over for the week, you could then upload it
to your computer by copying it to a cf card and then inserting
that card into your computer, or by Activesync.
I hope this helps you,
Robert
