Hi:
KB is kilobyte and just refers to how much space a file takes up. As for
moving an Email, just press space w/ dots 26 and then space down to move
E-mail and chose your folder. Space w/ S saves the text of an E-mail and
it will probably be in the none folder of the Key Soft disk. This is
also known as the main directory.

Subject: [Braillenote] I really need help!

I'm not sure if I should be addressing this mesage to the
Humanware Staff or the List! All I can say is that I really
would apprecaite some help!
Since KS7.0 was installed, I've had to relearn a great deal of
proceedures I followed in the past; and, try to cope with new and
unfamiliar things.
First, I was replying to a message from a dear lady on the BN
List. It was long and I wanted to put it into the Draft Folder
until I could finish it. I used Control + s to Save it. What
happened next has me stumped. Instead of the usual process, it
M-Power display read: "tem.txt."
I've searched for a week, but cannot find my work!
Next, I've been using CF cards since purchasing my Classic BN.
Until today, I had no problem with the M-Power and KS7.0.
However, I was only downloading for Web-Braille and cannot
download from Books as I usually do. the problem is that the
"bytes" have changed and I don't understand them! For instance,
what is "KB?"
(The card I used had almost 500 MB free. The file I wanted to
download had 211 kb!)
Nowhere in the M-Power Manual can I find an explanation of these
changes.
Is it possible we should only be using GB cards to download
books?
KC
