(note) Before deleting anything, make sure if you have created any of your own folders in the Email Folder section that you move them up to your compact flash card or the flash drive. Also, keep in mind that any E-mail stored in the inbox will not be able to be retrieved.)
 1.  From the Main Menu, press F for the file manager.
 2.  Press E to erase a file.
 3.  Go to the Flash Drive, and press Enter.
 4.  Go to the Keylist folder.
5. At the "list of files" prompt, press Space with X, (read with x", so that "hidden" files are shown.
 6.  Look for the email folderddcdb.
7. Press Enter. You will be given information that the file contains a database. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete it.
 8.  You will want to press Y.
9. This file is the one which is corrupted, and it contains the database records of the e-mail database only. 10. After this file is deleted, go in to KeyMail, and select the option to Write an e-mail. 11. You will get a prompt about the database not existing, and the BN will ask whether to create an associated database.
 12.  Press Y.  for "Yes", and a blank database will be created.
13. You may have to re-create your customized folders, depending on definition files used. 14. (Make sure you have a file called e-mail foldersddklt. You won't see the extension when viewing the file on the BN, although the extension means KeyList (TEXT) in the KeyMail folder of the Flash Disk. 15. This is the file which governs how the database is displayed. Make sure it's there before deleting the database file. If it's not, "COPY," (don't move) it from the KeySoftstKeyMail directory of the KeySoft System Disk (where it is burned, along with the other definition files of databases factory installed on the BN (not customized databases the user creates.
