Hello,
I am having a hard time with your reasoning for not having html
capability in keymail. If it is already in the web browser, what
makes you think that viruses are possible.
Secondly, the reasoning for html capability, is that more and
more emails are being sent in html format. In my e-mails, that
are not listserv emails, I would say that probably 80 to 85
percent of them are html and I have to delete them, and go to my
pc and download them. It sure would be nice to be able to
download everything on one device.
I hope this helps you.
Robert

Your American way falls down when oyu remember that Human Ware is
headquartered in New Zealand.
I remember one a while back Dene sent a message to the list about
why the BN
couldn't get viruses and one of them was because what with teh
RTF
converter, web page code filtering, and no HTML in emails,
viruses simply
didn't have a way to get onto the BN. It seems to me that the
benefits of
HTML in messages (...which are what, exactly, could someone tell
me?) outway
the risks. But, y'know, that's just my opinion.

Oh, so Humanware better not do that then, especially with all
those
hackers out there trying to crack keysoft and bring the
braillenote down
to its knees.
Even if that was the case, it would be good for the economy.
Then we
could pay Macafee and Symantec money to guard against viruses on
our
braillenotes. It's the American way.

No, a necessity and a long-time oversight. Come on guys, an fm
radio
and games are cute and cool and all, but let's tighten up some
loose
ends, eh? There's already an html browser in keysoft. Why
hasn't it
yet been extended to keymail? Very frustrating to say the
least.

Hi Dean and List,
Please pass the suggestion along for HTML in email. This would
be a real plus.
