The question is though should you have to do it that way. Don't forget
that any solution needs to be doable by as many people as possible. Not
everyone knows how nor do they care all they want is it to do what they
need.

When I get a large HTML e-mail, I typically save it as a text file, then
rename it, giving it a .htm extension. All the HTML code survives, or
seems to, anyway, and I can view it using Keyweb.  Yeah, it's
cumbersome, but it works.
