Sarah V.; Until your wish is granted, set the alarm for x number of minutes before you need the task to be done. If something is cooking and you do not want it to burn, set the alarm for 3 minutes before your finish time and if you want also set one for the finish time. This will give you enough time to get to the kitchen and be on the spot when the cooking time is done. Just some ideas. This can also apply to your idea about calling. There you may only need one alarm. Who is going to care if you call one or two minutes earley? It will give you time to look up the number, too.

Somehow I thought that would be part of the stop watch, but of course I shouldn't have assumed such a thing. The stopwatch can be used for some things, but it won't help a person to not burn supper, or remember to call someone back in 15 minutes. You'd have to look at how much time past, and if you have a defective sense of time as i do, you simply don't look again at the correct time. The planner isn't really suited either, because it takes too much setup time. I know I could get a timer, but they wouldn't be as nice and convenient and always present as my BrailleNote is. Thanks for your attention to all our suggestions.
