Hi all,

Hmmmmm, now that's interesting, Kate. I'd be interested in just what
type of evaluation you placed on your three differing sets of
instructions. I have toyed with the idea of technical writing, but
I'd probably have to relocate, and I don't want to do that. I'm too
content where I am. However, knowing several technical writers who
wrote for Kodak and Xerox, I'm just curious as to your comments.

You could send them publicly, or not, as you choose. Maybe saying
that person A did such and such, and person B did such and such. I
think it would really help me, at least to be more helpful to my
students. I often must write out sets of instructions for students
who live at a distance. Any help to improve my explanations is
greatly appreciated. Lest this list turn into a discussion of
technical writing, maybe you better send this privately! <smile>

Ann P.
