Hi Joseph,
I suspected that I might have to register the filetype so that Windows
wouldn't mess with it, but I thought I'd see if there was anything else that
I could do first. Even though Web Braille probably has instructions for
dealing with this, I just went into the filetypes tab of Folder Options as
you suggested, and after a couple of minutes taking a good look around,
adding the extension and a description (formatted Braille File), I was in
business. I tried downloading another .BRF file and everything was fine.
Your suggestion was right on. Thanks.
