Although, sometimes there's a little problem.
I went to the ifarchives site and downloaded a z5 game called "Bomber". When I tried to play it I got a message saying that the "mad bomber" had found several problems with my translater, including the fact that it couldn't do timed games and asked me to reconfigure my translater.
I don't know if there is a way around this or not.
Another problem I am having is with a z8 game called "Jet blue" or in the ifarchives list, "Jet" This game seems to have a layout that often gets you stuck with no way to really get out of parts of the game or game info. You're supposed to be able to type "menu" and get help or info about the author etc, but what happens is you get stuck in one or another place and can't get from one place to another very easily. I got into a situation where when I played the game, I would get part of something about the author or a part of an Edgar Allen Poe poem at the end of every sentence or move I made. I hit space with e several times and still the stupid line from that poem sat there before the bn finally said "Say yes or no." When I typed "yes", it exited the game. no warning that it was going to do that as in "Do you want to exit the game?" although I think it was there some place or it wouldn't have asked me to type yes or no.
All I got until then was that darned poem.
I think it's just how the game is layed out.
I would have to have someone with the right interpreter download it on a computer, or have Jaws read it, but I've had trouble with that also. All I'm saying, is that the bn might not be able to read and display a particular game very well because of something in that game.

Good luck and happy gaming!!!
Richard, playing with my brand spankin new MPower transplant!!!

Steph:

I am not sure which website you mean, but any .z5 or .z8 game can
just be downloaded like any other internet file: action the link
and select the drive and folder for the file. After that, go to
the games option on the main menu and navigate to the folder in
which you stored the downloaded game. Now just press ENTER on
the game you want and, after a brief pause, you are ready to go.

Hope that helped, and that I didn't totally confuse you as I have
been told I do.

Alex

I went to the web site where all the games are. However, I have
no idea what games I can download and how to install them. Can
someone point me in the right direction?
Steph
