Hi all,
Andy, no, I didn't try it again, as after I complied with its polite
request I left it alone all night. It told me the battery was
accurate so I didn't want to mess with it again.
<smile> The only thing that is confusing is plugging in the AC
adaptor when discharging the battery. Once explained, it makes sense,
but without an explanation, it seems so contrary, that one is tempted
to think there's been a mistake made. After all, you plug in the AC
to charge the battery. I don't mind, now that it's been explained,
but it needs to be explained, placed in a prominent place in the
manual, like in What's New or in a Warnings section or a Note:
section. As soon as I knew I wasn't going crazy, all was well. I
mean, Andy, you gotta understand this ol' ham. You learn to plug in
AC to charge batteries, that's SOP. To do the opposite is like
telling someone water is dry.
Hey, if it works, keep it, but just make sure you put an explanation
in the manual to reassure folks they aren't going crazy.
