Greetings: The following is something I have experienced using a Braillenote QT classic running Keysoft 6.1. I would greatly appreciate it if one of you that has a Braillenote QT mPower would take some time to run through the following steps to determine whether or not you notice this little inconsistency I seem to have found. Note, you will have to have Braille and Speech turned on in order to experience this. 1. From the main menu, press p to open the Keyplan menu. 2. Press o for Open Planner. You will be prompted with today's date and the word "today" in parentheses. 3. Press left arrow to move to the previous day. Note that the prompt shown on the Braille display changes to reflect that you have chosen the previous day. 4. Press right arrow to return to the current date. Again, both speech and Braille will indicate that you are back to today's date. 5. Press up arrow to move to the previous week. Again, note that the prompt on the Braille display will change and the speech will prompt you correctly as well. 6. Now, press down arrow to return to the current week. 7. Press tab to move to the next year, notice the prompt will change both in speech and Braille. 8. Press shift with tab to return to the current year. Again, notice that the prompt will change correctly in both speech and Braille. 9. Now, press page up (function with up arrow) to move to the previous month. Notice that the speech will indicate that you have gone to the previous month, but on the Braille display all you see is the word "day" followed by a question mark. Note that if you press page down (function with down arrow) to return to the current month, the Braille display still says "day?" Since all of the other calendar navigation commands show correct prompts on the Braille display, it seems to me that it is inconsistent that the move by month command does not show a correct Braille prompt when it is utilized. If one were deaf blind, there would be no indication in Braille that the month had in fact changed. I would call this a bug, but since this is not a beta testing list, I'll call it a piece of inconsistent behavior. Again, if someone on the list who has an mPower Braillenote QT would test this and get back to us, I would greatly appreciate it. I know, this is trivial to most of you, but I believe that one of the things that makes Keysoft stand out is its consistency. Thanks.
