first,
Hi Jackie,
>Having trouble with the battery on my sons braille note keeping a charge.
Any suggestions?
Is it classic or an mPower? how long does the battery last from fully
charged to empty?

second,
an mPower should recharge the battery in about two and a half hours. If
it's not doing that, I suggest you do a battery recalibration. If that
keeps cycling but never finishes, it sounds like a faulty battery. You
can try unplugging and pluggin in the AC adapter, which will kick off a
new fast charge and see what happens, as someone else suggested.

third,
don't worry about the cycle count! As far as I remember, it's something
the battery monitoring chip keeps track of, but if anyone really needs to
know exactly how it works, I'll go back and look through th code.

regards,

Andy.
