Sherry:

Before I sent back my MPower BT (for the second time), I experienced problems with the battery charging most of the way and then just stopping. I found that disconnecting the AC adapter from the unit and then reconnecting it usually fixed the problem. However, mine almost always stopped charging when it was over 50% charged.

To see if this works with your unit, unplug and then plug back in and just check the power status in about five minutes or so. I don't think this should be happening, of course, but it's a good thing to be able to tell them when you call Tech Support.

I'll check this again when my prodigal BN gets back from its long journey to California.

Subject: [Braillenote] battery question with mPower

Hi,

it seems that my mPower battery takes a very long time to charge up. The
other night, for example, I plugged it in after getting home from work. It
was at around 18 percent or something like that. the next day, 12 hours
later, when I unplugged it to go to work, it was only at 83 percent. Is
this common, and is there some kind of setting to have it do a quick charge?

Thanks.

Sherry
