Hi Linda, There are two different subjects under discussion here. The playlist message I posted yesterday had to do with playing a set of MP3 files. It's not required to get these files from the PC, but I personally find it a lot easier to do it this way, mostly because I've been doing the PC thing for quite a while now. This method doesn't require you to be connected to the internet. It's sort of like having one of those CD players with several slots for CD's. You can play several albums, one after the other. Once you set everything up and start playing, the music just plays by itself.
What you are asking about now is streaming online radio stations. This doesn't involve playlists. Instead, what you do is, go to the internet and select the "listen" link, or it's equivalent. Many online streams don't work with the mPower, but many more do work well. It depends on what technology each website owner chose to use when setting up their online stream. I'll do some checking into WCBS and see if the mPower can handle the online stream. Bad news, I do not have nor know how to use a computer. Can I listen to the music on the radio through the internet. For example, an oldies station like Cbs Fm. This station use to be in New York, but they pulled it off the air. People can still get it on line. Thanks.
