Hi, Angie:

Let's say that all of your folders are on the cf card you have put in the back slot. You want to back them up to the card on the right side of the BN. There are two ways to do this. If you want to back up everything, folders and all, here is what you do:

From the Main Menu, press U to go to Utilities. Press B. You'll
be asked if you want to back up or restore. Since you are backing up, press B. You'll be asked which folder you want to back up. You can press A for "all". Press Enter. You'll be asked where you want your back up to go. If you are backing up to the card on the side, you'll go down to the PC drive, if you're running 7.0. If it's an earlier version, you'll press S for the storage card. You'll press enter. You'll be asked for a file name, or you can press enter at the file name offered, which would be today's date.

If you just want to copy some files from one card to another, you can, from Main Menu, press F to go to file manager. Press C to copy. Go to the cf card, and select the folder you want to copy. Press Enter. You will see "source file name"? Press dots 3,5 chord. You will see "multiple character wildcard. Press Enter. You'll then see, "source drive"? Again, go to your pc drive. Press Enter. You'll see "folder name"? Name the folder, and press Enter. You'll see, "folder does not exist; create a new folder"? Press Y, and press Enter. Your files will be copied to that new folder.

Either way works. The first way moves everything, whereas the second one makes you move files from each individual folder. Hope I make sense. Good luck.> ----- Original Message -----

Rhonda,
Okay... I understand your directions up to a certain point. How
do I tell it to back up the cf card onto another cf card? That's where I get confused. Angie.
