Hello,
I was just helping a friend upgrade his VoiceNote classic from
6.11 to 7. The upgrade went fine, but then strange things
started happening.
1. The Flash Disk had 0 bytes free, so I erased all games and
keybase files to make some room. I did this because we got the
invalid tone with the message, "access is denied" whenever we
tried to do anything with the connection configurations: scan for
wireless networks, review a configuration, add one...
2. All the default KeyMail folders were there, but all custom
folders were gone, along with their contents.
3. You cannot enter the wireless ethernet menu and scan
immediately. You must scan 3 times before the networks in range
will come up. Before that, even after waiting several seconds,
the false message, "no visible networks" appears.
Please help. I was the one to upgrade, and I feel terrible, as
if I did something wrong. That is not the reason for this post,
though. Until the wireless issue is resolved, he has no email,
except using Jaws which he does not know well. If anyone can
help, that would be greatly appreciated.
