Hi Deon and All, Well, yes, I did check further, and my Bluetooth still does shut off on certain large sites. I guess a more accurate statement would be that it doesn't let me completely open those sites, as it shuts off while the page is still loading. I do get the 100% on the Braille display, but the beeping never stops, and I never get to see the page itself.
Now, when I tried to stream sites, such as those on ACB Radio, although I didn't listen for a long time, I could hold the stream for three or four minutes before I shut it off myself. I never could actually get the ACB Radio site to load on my mPower, though, just accessed the streams directly from my favorites to listen. Further, though, I didn't have any trouble at all accessing any of these sites with my PK. Of course, the PK doesn't stream, but I never lost my Bluetooth connection once while going to any of these sites. I mostly tried sites off the KeyWeb home page. The HumanWare site and the Google site were handled just fine by both the PK and mPower. However, although the PK could handle these just fine, the Bluetooth on the mPower turned off when trying to access the BBC news site, the CNN site and the New Zealand Herald. And, while they both could access the ACB website, only the PK could go on and access the ACB Radio site. And, oh, yes, another site I tried; and strange as it had a lot of links, but both the PK and mPower could access the blind cool tech site. Finally, as I didn't quote the original message here, I figured I should mention that this was using the Belkin Bluetooth adapter with an ActiveSync connection. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
