Hi,
If they are standard word documents ending with a .doc extension, your VoiceNote should see them.

If they don't have the .doc extension, then you would have a problem.

You may want to try hitting read with x when you are at the file list prompt and have it show you "all files."

Then see if it will see the documents and open them.

If it says it is not a valid word document, try opening it from Word and just saving it again.

Good luck,
Richard

Hello All,

I just got my voice note QT the other day and the biggest difficulty I am having is getting my voice note to read Micro Soft Word files that have been saved to my thumb drive. I go through the "word processor" from the Maine menu and I am able to navigate through all of my folders and sub-folders on my thumb drive. However, once I find the sub-folder I want, the voice note does not recognize that their are files within the sub-folder. I thought that the Voice Note could handle Word documents. Is this not true? If you can read Word docs on the voice note, how do I do it?

Sandisk drives work great as well.

Hi. I have an LG 1 gb drive that works great. Sam's club sells
them. It has a retractable USB plug and connects nicely to a key
chain.
