Hi Jim,

I learned from another BrailleNote user that if you have too many addresses, the classic will freeze and not finish the process. I tried it on a classic with 133 addresses and it couldn't make it through all of them without crashing. We think it might be that the BrailleNote is going to sleep because it is taking so long.
I have not had that trouble on the PK. I have not tried it on an mPower.

Perhaps Humanware could offer a suggestion/explanation?

If I have time today, I will call and ask.

Richard

of knowing I got them all, but it is a start.
Thanks.

That was the problem thanks. Now how long should this take? I have about 120
records and it is either taking for ever or the bn qt keeps crashing on me.
When I start the process the braille display goes blank and just sits there.

Thanks.

Hi Jim,

Which type of BrailleNote do you have? BT or QT?
Did you get the correct file type?
If you are using a QT, you want the one ending with .kwt and for the
BT the one ending with .kwb.

I have loaded it on several different machines and it has shown up in
the list of templates.

Beyond that, I'm honestly not sure what to say.

You can write me directly at:

and we can talk further.
