Hi,
You certainly can use the mpower with DSL.
Do you currently have a router so more than one computer can access the
internet at the same time?
If so, if it is wireless, you can set up the mPower with a wireless CF
card and access it that way.
If you don't have a wireless router, you will likely need to buy an
ethernet CF card adapter for the mPower. It is a Compact Flash card that
has an Ethernet Port adapter that plugs into it. You then plug your
ethernet cable into that and the router.
Or, if you only have the modem, then you would plug the ethernet cable
directly into the modem.
I hope that helps some.

I got my MPower very recently, and really want to get on the Internet and
do email using it. My husband & I have DSL instead of a dial-up service.
This may be a dumb question, but can you get on the Internet and use the
Braille Note for email using DSL or do you have to have a dial-up account.
Either way, I would like to get Specific directions for doing this.
Thanks!!!

Hi Cynthia,Yes, you can get the mpower online without having to have your
home computer online. YOu would need thenumber for dial up as well as
your pop and smtp servers. You need your user name and password and I
think that's it.
Hope this helps.

These may sound silly but...
Is braille note MPower compatible with Windows based games such
as those from Kitchens Inc.?
For those of you using the MPower with the internet, do you have
to have your computer set up for internet prior to setting up the braille
note for internet, or can you just use the parameters (number to dial,
servers, etc.) to set up your braille note without connecting your
computer.
Um, let me see if I can clarify. I'll want the MPower online, but
not my home computer. Is that possible?
