Michelle,
This is Joseph. There are two (or three) types of CF cards:
Standard: this is the card that is recommend by many of us on the list.
Ultra: this is the card that your friend mght have referred to. This card
type works faster, although it is not recommended.
Extreme: faster than Ultra, it is also not recommended.
I recommend that you buy the standard type for compatibility. I hope this
infvormation may help you.

Subject: [Braillenote] Compact Flash Cards

Hi listers. The other day a friend helped me find a 1 gig compact flash
card which was on sale. He told me that besides the standard 1-gig CF card,
there was one which was 1-gig forty times, or something like that.
He said that the one with the forty times enabled processing to be a lot
faster, but since we weren't sure about how the BN would react to that
particular card, I went for the standard one.

Has anybody heard of these other cards and if so, are they BN friendly?

Thanks.

Michele
