Michelle, This is Joseph. There are two (or three) types of CF cards: Standard: this is the card that is recommend by many of us on the list. Ultra: this is the card that your friend mght have referred to. This card type works faster, although it is not recommended. Extreme: faster than Ultra, it is also not recommended. I recommend that you buy the standard type for compatibility. I hope this infvormation may help you.
