I went to the chord O, chord i, pressed the letter p, at the support information menu and it did not give any type of reading what so ever. It did not change display. Anymore Ideas. Should I alert the agency lending it to me? I plan to but it is disconcerting when you are working and your battery goes dead without worning.

Hi,

there are two warnings given on the mPower for low battery. One is
based on a chip that keeps track of how much power it thinks has gone into
and out of the battery, and this will be affected (although not greatly)
by it not being calibrated. The other warning is given when the battery
voltage hits a certain level, and will not be affected by calibration.
Especially if it's a unit on loan to you, I wouldn't worry about whether
it's calibrated or not - although repeated failure to calibrate can
indicate a battery problem.

If you want to know the percentage of battery power the unit thinks it
still has, you can go into support information mode and press P, and it
will tell you even if it doesn't think it's accurate.

Andy.
