I don't know if the 6260 takes the same type of memory card. If it takes a
MMC, (multimedia card), it might work in the SD card slot on an mPower.

Hi there. Is it possible to do this with a Nokia 6260?

Thanks.

Hi Rusty,

I happen to know you have a Nokia 6682. If you put the memory card that
came with your phone, the one that goes in the side slot, into its
adapter, you will have a multimedia card which the mPower is able to
read in it's SD card slot. I have downloaded a wave file with my BN,
using the phone as a modem, then disconnected the phone from the BN,
turned the phone off, removed the card, put it into its adapter, put the
card into the SD slot in the mPower, and copied the wave file onto the
card. Voila, I had a new ring tone!

It sure isn't synching, it's actually rather clunky, but it works. It's
also only possible to copy files this way, not contacts or other
information stored in either device.

HTH,

Sarah C

Ya, I guess I wasn't really clear was I? I've tried, not real hard
though, to do this.

I do wish the object exchange service worked.
I do wish I could exchange things like files and music from my bn to my
phone. :-)

You say it is not possible to sync your phone and your braille note.
that is true if you do not have a computer with microsoft outlook on it.
You can not sync directly between phone and Braille Note with bluetooth
or anything else. That is really unfortunate, but not likely to change
due to the nature of portable devices and how syncing works. I don't
know anything that can sync directly to another portable device. It
would be great if the object exchange were to be implamented at some
time, though. that would be possible I believe. That would allow
exchange of one entry at a time. Until then we can only share items by
using a computer running outlook as an intermediary. You can sync
between your braille note and the computer and then the phone and the
computer and have everything in sync. Well, that is if everything
cooperates, which it may or may not. <grin>
