You can even tell Windows what program you want to use to open a file. For example, Windows knows that all .dxp, dxb, brf files should be opened with DBT Win and all of my .txt files are opened with a program called PowerEdit, a text editor which has a lot more functionality than Notepad. It's a good program to use when you want to delete unnecessary blank lines and blank spaces from a web braille book before reading it on the BN.
