Hello,
This really does work beautifully. Rhonda showed me how to do it two years ago when my classic was a 5.0. It opened new worlds of sending messages for me. At that time, I hated having to type in each person's name if I wanted my message to go to a large group of people, so she walked me through this option. You don't even have to send to everyone in your list. when your device says there are 30 entries, send to all, if you press N, you can eliminate anyone you don't want it to go to by pressing space with dots five and six. As you get to the next name, press enter if you want that name to get the message. Y at the prompt will send it to everyone you've identified in the title and N will allow you to be selective to those addressees. You can do the same thing with your entire address list. Since people are not able to create databases that they can send E-Mails from, this option is great.

Hi,
You would put that in your "send to" field.
Rhonda's and Robert's explanation sounds very workable but I
haven't
had time to try it yet.
If I understood them correctly, let's say you have ten people
that
you want to send the same message to and you had put NFB in the
title
field for each of them in your address list; when you start your
new
E-mail message, on the send to field hit backspace+l or control+l
and
you will be given the chance to pick which field from the address
book you want to use. So, spacebar your way to the title field
and
type nfb and hit enter. KeyMail will say "ten records selected,
send
to all selected records?"
Hit y and go from there as you would in any E-mail message.

It looks like it will work perfectly. I will test it after I get
some people entered with E-mail addresses and a common title, or
whatever.

Have fun,
Richard

Hi Terry, Rhonda, Richard, et al,
I understand you would put "NFB" or "bookclub" in the "title
Field"
in your address book. However, in which E-Mail field do you put
"NFB" or whatever your List is called?
(Is it the "Subject" field?)
