That is how you would rename it I think.

Hi, Terry:
Most of my mPower messages are speculation, from what I read in
the manual. I may be assuming wrong things, but if you go in to
File Manager, and press R to rename, you should be able to go to
your memos, and rename it like you would any other file. Someone
having an mPower may need to correct me here.

Hi Rhonda;
Thanks for the imfo. I braille all my bank imfo last and it
worked great. first of all, why did they not put the erase
command under media player in the hand book. Good thing I asked
ahead of time. I also tried a new command. Space with 3 or 2
will take you back a small amount, I think 1 or 5 percent. A p
follows the number in the command list.
I also had to go in from main menu to find my files. The short
cut would not let me see my list of files.
After recording, how can I give it a name? To my understanding,
if you turn off the record button, your file is closed, so how
can you name something that is not there and that the MP has
given a name already?
I love the pause and back up feature. they are great for what I
am using the recording feature for. This is also good for a
student who is studying a lecture or notes.
The incraments are small enough that you only go back about one
store and check amount, if you know what I mean.
My slate is clean.
bye for now.

Hi Terry:
You will always see that your last memo will show up first. When
you want to erase a memo, you can do Backspace with C. Probably
your best option would be to name your memo, like you would name
any other file.
If it were me, I would have my memos go on an SD card, or a
compact flash card. Anyway, you can give your memos a file name,
like you would name any file in KeySoft.
If you want to stop a memo so that you can write things down, you
can press Backspace with Enter, or X, (1,3,4,6) with Enter.
Then, when you want to unpause, do it again.
Hope this is what you wanted to know. Good luck.

Hi rhonda;
Can you refresh my memory on how to find a recording, if you have
more than one. erase was enter with c, right.
Thanks I have a few I want to get rid of. Having someone read
off a few checks and brailling them later is great. It is so
much faster on everyone and my friends are intreaged with my
MPower and how I can read braille. I showed my friend the first
5 letters. By chance is there a pause command. I think someone
said there was not. This means it will take longer to braille,
but who cares. It is a lot less strain on my eyes. Rejoice HW!

Hi List:
Have any of you tried recording long memos on your mPower? If
so, how long of a recording can you make? The person I am working
with would be recording on her Sd card, which is 128 M.
Thanks for any response.
