Richard,
I am pretty sure that there is something wrong with the thumb
drive and I don't think that the thumb drives has any types of
lock switch, wall not any of the ones that I have used. The
thing that I would is take the thumb drive and either return or
exchange it for a SanDisk.
Well, I hope you get things sorted out.
Kevin

Subject: [Braillenote] pny usb thumb not working on bn or pc
Hi list!
I just bought a pny usb thumb drive (128 megs) and tried it on
the bn.
Absolutely nothing happened, and it wasn't even recognized on the
drive list or anything!
I had a cf card that did this, but the bn at least told me that
the card was not recognized, and this usb flash didn't even do
that.
I thought I'd try it on our pc, and nothing again.
Is there something I should be doing?
I tried it on both usb ports on the bn and on our pc with the
same results.
Do some of these things have switches or something, because I
can't find anything on this thing that looks like a switch or
anything.
Thanks in advance for all the help.
Richard, puzzled and scratching his head
