Hi Kathy,
Yes, when you braille in grade two, it is expanded in to uncontracted text
and then sent off to your recipient, whether they are blind or sighted,
using a BN or anything else.

Interestingly enough, when you thought you were writing "D R A G S T E R" it
came across to me as "dragainster"

The issue I believe, is that the translator has been made to recognize
certain combinations of letters as contractions, but hasn't been taught when
not to expand the contractions well enough.
There are rules that we as humans can follow as we read braille. There are
other situations which are common sense.
I wonder whether Duxburry has a mechanism set in place to fix these errors
in subsequent upgrades.

Rusty,
When I write the word "dragainster" it says "dragainster" in my BN BT mPower
18. If I put dots 5-6 before the letter a it says "dragster" correctly.
When you hear the word incorrectly, such as your Grimmediate, does it
translate into print as Grimmediate for a person reading a print email from
you? Just curious.
Kathy
