A redesign would be necessary; I figured it would be worth it,
though. Another idea is something I heard about in that 2004
conference audio file somewhere on the HW website: a battery that
plugs into the charger socket. I cannot remember if it charges
the internal battery, or just supplies power, but that sounded
promising, too.

Hi. There are probably three chargers out there that one can see
at places
like Sams or costco that have multiple tips. They claim to work
for laptops,
dvd players, game players, etc.
If we could get someone at hw to test these and tell us which
work with the
bn. That would be neat.
I agree. We really need a car charger. A removable battery
would be nice,
but would necessitate a redesign of the bn.

I couldn't agree more with the car charger idea. I also suggest
that, in
the future, all the problems are solved by removable batteries
that can be
charged in or out of the BN, and that these batteries come with a
car
charger. With all the BN can do, the battery is definitely its
most
limiting feature, especially with WIFI or using a bluetooth GPS
receiver.

Subject: [Braillenote] Car adapter for braillenote
Hi,
I took a trip to Norfolk VA, and I used my GPS all the way. It
worked
just great, but Having no car adapter, my Voicenote qwerty
classic used
83 percent of it's battery.
I feel strongly that there needs to be a car adapter for the
braillenote family of products.
