Hello Jc,
Thank you for your response.
yes, the train indeed has outlets you can plug the i go into for power. They are usually in the wall next to your seat. I know this wouldn't help for the bus, but at least it covers most other transportation. You can get more information about the i go on the cool products link at sendero group and it can be purchased at Radio Shack.
Hope this helps you.
I use the i go, on a daily basis, and I have never had any problems, and I know many others who use it as well. It works great with the braillenote.
Robert

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Car adapter for braillenote

Hi Robert,
If my comment seemed negative, I apologize. In fact, I wanted to
learn where to buy the IG-o for my son, because he travels
extensively by car, and plane.
My only point is that many of us don't use cars that often but
travel long ditances on train, bus or plane. The IG-O will
cover the car and plane, but not public transit, such as Amtrak
or Greyhound.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH US.
KC
